Homeowner Protection Act and Regulation

The B.C. government has introduced changes to the Homeowner Protection Act Regulation to enhance professionalism in the residential construction industry and increase consumer protection for buyers of new homes in British Columbia. The changes are based on extensive consultation with industry and establish new qualifications and continuing education requirements as a condition of renewing a builder licence in B.C.
