Starting July 4, 2016, anyone applying for an Owner Builder Authorization in British Columbia will need to pass a knowledge exam on home building basics. Builder Qualification Requirements Come Into Effect March 4

As of March 4, 2016 new applicants identified as general contractors who plan to construct single-family homes and small residential buildings under Part 9 of the BC Building Code are required to meet new qualification standards before a licence will be issued by the Registrar. Learn More.
